Sierra Income Corporation BDC Reduces Sales Load

June 16, 2017 | by Jared Schneider | Blue Vault

According to an announcement on June 15, 2017, Sierra Income Corporation reduced the upfront selling commission from 7.00% to 3.00% and the dealer manager fee was reduced from 2.75% to 2.50%. Additionally, the Advisor will pay the Dealer Manager an ongoing stockholder distribution and servicing fee of up to 1.00% of net asset value per share. This change reduces the total front-end load from 9.75% to 5.50%.

This comes as a move to reduce fees to investors in the alternative investment industry and to conform to many recent regulations that have been passed in the financial services industry.
