The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC (together with its affiliate companies \u201cInland\u201d), one of the nation\u2019s largest commercial real estate and finance groups, announced today the appointment of Jovan Marconi to Chief Information Officer.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In this role, Mr. Marconi is responsible for developing and implementing the IT strategy,\u00a0including application development; data management; AI practices; cybersecurity; and the evolution of the technology infrastructure for Inland. He will report to Cassie Hrtanek, Inland\u2019s Chief Operations Officer.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have made great progress under Jovan\u2019s leadership with Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation\u2019s technology systems in his previous position,\u201d said Ms. Hrtanek. \u201cI am thrilled to promote a proven and innovative results-oriented leader within our own ranks that will continue to modernize all of Inland\u2019s tech platforms and deliver exceptional outcomes for all Inland entities and stakeholders.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Marconi joined Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation (\u201cInland Investments\u201d)\u00a0in 2021 as vice president and head of investment system strategies.\u00a0 Prior to joining Inland Investments, he served as head of investment technology at Legal and General Investment Management America. He also held positions with Invesco, AEGON Asset Management and Mercer Investment Consulting, where he focused on implementing technology platforms, enhancing operational efficiencies and mitigating business risk.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored and thrilled to take on this new position to collaborate, modernize and advance Inland\u2019s strategic goals and technology infrastructure,\u201d said Mr. Marconi.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mr. Marconi received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northeastern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University. He holds certifications as a Professional Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, and an IBM certification in Databases and SQL for Data Sciences. Mr. Marconi is also a co-founder and member of the board of directors of Out in Finance.<\/p>\n
