Griffin Capital Company, LLC (\u201cGriffin Capital\u201d), a leading private real estate investment manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul DeMartini to serve as Chief Investment Officer. In this capacity, DeMartini will oversee the firm\u2019s Development, Acquisitions, Portfolio Management and Asset Management divisions. DeMartini will direct investment strategy and execution and serve on the firm\u2019s Investment and Executive Management Committees.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Griffin Capital, Mr. DeMartini served as Senior Managing Director at Tishman Speyer, where he was responsible for the company\u2019s operations across the Southern California and Washington D.C. regions. His responsibilities included overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and development. He previously worked in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and as a consultant for Andersen Consulting. Mr. DeMartini is a member of the Urban Land Institute and currently serves in leadership of its U.S. Product Councils. Mr. DeMartini graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in business economics and received his MBA with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Palmer Scholar.<\/p>\n
